The First Aid Industry Body (FAIB) is a accreditation body for the first-aid industry that establishes qualification standards. You must demonstrate evidence of high-quality first-aid training and quality management standards to be accepted by the FAIB. The FAIB is a well-established organisation that oversees hundreds of training providers throughout the United Kingdom.
We're members of the Federation of First Aid Training Organisations (FOFATO). The FOFATO was created to raise First Aid standards and, as a result, public awareness of the profession. Since 2007, the Health & Safety Executive has recognised the FOFATO as the primary consulting organisation in First Aid matters.
In a world where emergencies can strike without warning, the importance of having trained individuals who can react quickly to various encounters can't be emphasised. On-site first aid training prepares staff, volunteers, or members of a business with the vital skills to deal with emergencies within their immediate environment, helping to save lives. In the UK, regulations and best practices govern this form of training, ensuring that individuals are properly trained.
On-site first aid training refers to formalised training classes conducted at a company's premises, rather than at a public training venue. The benefit of on-site training is that it is often tailored to the specific needs and potential risks of that specific place of work.
Immediate Response: Quick reactions in emergencies reduce the severity of injuries and can also stop fatalities.
Legal Requirement: Depending upon the nature and size of your organisation, the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 requires that companies provide adequate and proper devices, facilities, and experienced employees.
Boost Morale: Personnel often feel much more protected knowing that there are trained people amongst them.
Potential Financial savings: Minimised severity of injuries can lead to less time off work and possible savings in settlement.

Beyond the duration, the primary difference lies in the depth of content each course offers.
Onsite First Aid Training's 1 Day Emergency First Aid at Work course is an entry-level course, best for people in retail, educational, corporate, and low-risk sports environments.
In contrast, our extensive 3 Day First Aid at Work course caters to high-risk environments like sports, construction, manufacturing, and warehousing, offering in-depth training.
To preserve certification, a 2-day First Aid re-qualification course needs to be done prior to the expiry of the current certificate, advisedly within a month of its expiration. If not requalified timely requires retaking the full 3-day course.
Additionally, we provide an annual First Aid refresher course. Though not compulsory, it comes highly recommended by HSE for all qualified First Aiders to maintain updated with their skills.
Imagine, a first aider who, after three years without refreshers, makes a serious error in an emergency, resulting in tragic results.
Established in 2014, Onsite First Aid Training has rapidly grown as a notable provider of First Aid training in the area.
The beginning of the company was very personal. Our founder, Sarah Jeffries, experienced the tragic loss of a close friend to sudden cardiac arrest, a situation worsened by the lack of immediate First Aid support. This critical event drove Jo-Anne to start a journey to offer practical, memorable First Aid training courses.
Today, Onsite First Aid Training acts as a model of safety and preparedness. We are committed to empowering businesses with the abilities to ensure the safety of themselves and others in their environment.
